I have always believed that the automotive industry is more than just a business—it’s a blend of engineering excellence, design, and freedom. My name is Harsh Tyagi, and my journey into this industry didn't start in a showroom, but with a lifelong admiration for the machines that move us.
Despite having a deep-rooted passion for cars, I initially followed a different path, earning my Master’s in Business Analytics from the University of Exeter. During my time at Exeter, I learned how to look at the world through the lens of data, uncovering the patterns that drive markets and the information gaps that leave consumers feeling uncertain.
For years, I observed the used car market closely. I saw a recurring problem: The Trust Gap. Buyers were overwhelmed by a "wild west" of listings, and sellers with high-quality, well-maintained cars were getting lost in the noise. I realized that the industry I admired so much was lacking a truly vetted, data-backed marketplace.
I built Mint Mileage because I wanted to create the platform I felt the industry was missing. I combined my analytical background with my passion for cars to build a "Vault"—a marketplace where data ensures quality. We don’t just list cars; we use rigorous filtering and verification to certify that every vehicle is truly "Mint."
